The media center will provide instructional services that include information literacy lessons, collaborative lessons, and in–services for faculty.

Information Literacy Skills

Information Literacy Skills can be taught in collaboration with classroom teachers. Please the the media specialist to arrange collaborative planning sessions that incorporate these skills. It is important to note that information literacy standards are now part of the Language Arts Sunshine State Standards. Bring your collaborative planning worksheet and ideas to the media center.
